Journey of YOLI

Figs.jpg

Hello,
I am Yoliartist

Yoliartist, the artistic pseudonym of Oi Lin Irene YEUNG, is a Hong Kong-based multidisciplinary artist transitioning from acclaimed metalware design to contemporary painting. With over a decade of experience in sheet metalworking, Irene founded Derangedsign in 2020, a studio focused on minimalist designs inspired by Chinese philosophy, yin-yang principles, and Hong Kong’s cultural heritage. Her metalware work blends functionality with cultural reflection.

Now, as Yoliartist, Irene explores painting to create immersive artworks that reflect Hong Kong’s East-West fusion and themes of harmony, coexistence, and mindfulness. Through this new medium, she aims to foster cross-cultural dialogue and share Hong Kong’s artistic spirit globally.
